there are few songs i can vividly remember hearing for the first time--welcome to the jungle is one of them. i was in college, we went to this club that was in this huge victorian house and each room played different music. it.was.awesome.

I met Slash on a Miami-NYC flight about 13 years ago. We chatted while waiting to board and I didn't recognize him at first because, well...he wasn't wearing his signature hat. I accidentally knocked him over when he was attempting to put his bag in the overhead and I was trying to get past him. He laughed about it as I helped him up. Seemed like a good egg.
BE Earl - you lie. ok. that is very cool. he's quite amazing. didja bum a smoke from him? it seems he actually appears at some concerts now without his hat. cool hair. and you knocked over slash?! good GOD man!
i should go see him the next time he's in town. it's time.

Hey you... I was sitting here, re-reading The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron, and I thought of you. If you've never read or worked with this book, I think you should... at least check it out. I'm working on putting together a creativity/writer's workshop and I'm going to be using it as a guide (I took an Artist's Way class once and it was amazing). Anyway, have a look-see. If you're not familiar with it already, you may find it to be something that will inspire you!
