to boot or not to boot....

i bought the pair anyway. without consulting all of you. oh well. perhaps that was a mistake. we shall see. i'm afraid it may snow though. then i'll be in deep....well....snow.... and i dont like the sloshy-cold-wet-feet feeling. i do like a good snowball fight. i have always liked sledding. never liked building snowmen though. nope. not even as a younger child. i have no idea why. that does sound disturbing. perhaps i shall have to visit a psychoanalyst... or maybe a cup of applespice tea. i'll try the latter first...

I am not a snowman fan either. Dunno why... takes too long, never looks quite right, melts.

We got a dusting of snow last night... not enough for the sloshy-cold-wet-feet feeling, though. Whew. I need some new boots, too.

Boots!

...I have some also.

Try building a snowman at the bottom of a hill and then sledding right through it. Of course name the snow person of someone you despise and you'll finally appreciate snow people and find it very therapeutic.

Oh I do miss seeing snow. It's just as fun watching it on tv I suppose.

P.S. You will absolutely not taste any olive oil on the turkey!

diane - the snowmen are always askew. i cant work with that. and the raisins and carrots are too cliche. maybe i'll think of something orginal this year.

docta - i got the shoeboots. i dont like the here-someone-help-me-with-this-i-think-my-foot-has-to-be-surgically-removed-from-this-rubber-torture-chamber-type boots. so which ones do you have ?

king - i'd rather keep my neck and back and other important appendages safe and sound. i'll stick with a picture on a dartboard or at a shooting range...

janah - youre right. i think a picture will be fine. i dont mind the cold as much as the snow. so far so good round these here parts...

Go with the tea. It's much less expensive.

Always begin with a warm beverage.

I prefer viewing the snow from my reclined cozy spot near the hearth in my chalet in Gstaad while sipping something warm and amber and slightly numbing. Snow boots are for the hired.

heinous - tea gets expensive too. but i guess not $175/hr expensive...

captain my captain - i just cant stop laughing about your post. i keep reading it.

comedy goddess - do the "hired" ever get a sip of that warm, amber and slightly numbing serum you speak of ?

It has been known to happen. There are many requirements to be met. And Goddess is enough.
