benevolence

the drum beats
in time
the melody
out of it
the drum stops
to give the melody a chance
to compose itself

it begins again
assured
synchopating

very nicely done...now if we could just stop beating our own drum and allow everyone to catch up...

you brought to mind a group meditation a friend told me of, where she and a few others heard drum beats in the background, only to find that none had been played. it was a creative observation of the mind.

also, thanks for the jackalope! <3

People always get mad when I beat their drums, so I started beating my own. It's worked out so far.

sometimes the melody
gets snagged up by intrusions
and so the drummer must wait, assess and syncopate.

When we allow everyone to compose and dance to their own beat, then true acceptance and harmony there will be. Amazing post. Cheers Just!!

At first glance I thought that said "Bunny Violence" which I hoped meant Fight Club with hot Asian women. Imagine my disappointment.
