southern cross

crosby still and nash.

yeah.
thats a REALLY good song.
and you can see a live version here.
and then there's the album version. which is softer and truer somehow.
anyway, i really like some of the lyrics.

my favorite you ask?

"So I'm sailing for tomorrow
My dreams are a dyin'
And my love is an anchor tied to you
Tied with a silver chain

I have my ship
And all her flags are a flyin'
She is all that I have left
And music is her name."

ok. the truth is that there are a very bunch of good lines in this song
and you just might want to go look at them all.

muchas smooches

If you're in search of amazing lyrics, you needn't look much further than CSN.

ok, great music, someone who appreciates lyrics (they're like poetry no?) AND calvin and hobbes? be still my heart.

ib - yep. so many good ones. but i need to be in the right mood. usually a rather introspective one.

creative one - and you have the order right too. we must be related...

My favorite CSN song:

holding you close undisturbed before the fire.

the pressure in my chest when you breathe in my ear.

we both knew this would happen...when you first appeared, my lady of the island....
