they had a name
when they were alive
how does it disappear
so quickly
i entertained the thought
many times
of forgetting
but it doesnt go away
i push the button
the bell rings
and down i go
and all that ends well
is not well

Some things? No forgetting.
lady di - ah yes. that is true. much as i would try.
Memory makes us who we are, but it can be a bastard sometimes.
Some we shouldn't forget.
Remembering is a gift. We can accept it, open it and enjoy it for what it is or we can refuse the gift.
It's refreshing to read something unordinary & unique.. yet still making since.. Cool.
intriguing...
i guess this shows
you have not forgot.
Maybe ghosts are just a way to explain that when we try and forget something we have to stop and remember what it was we are trying to forget...thereby restarting the cycle.
Even life to life, we always remember something...
It was about six months ago when I told the ghosts to go be dead on their own for awhile. And strangely? They did.
"Ghost" is an archaic and derisive term. The preferred appellation is now "Metaphysically-challenged American".
